Our dear friends of Scotland, Happy New Year 2023! It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the 19th annual Burns Night in Prague, which will take place on January 28, 2022 at the lovely premises of Vila Lanna, at V Sadech 1/1, Prague 6 - Bubeneč. For those unfamiliar with Burns Night celebrations - for more than 200 years this evening has been celebrating the birth of Scotland's greatest poet, Robert Burns. It is an evening filled with his immortal poetry, good Scottish food, single malt whiskey and dancing to live Scottish music. The price of the ticket, which includes a complete festive four-course menu (including Scottish specialities), wine, whiskey, beer, coffee and soft drinks, is 2,800 CZK per person. Dear Friends of Scotland -- The annual Burns Night is just around the corner, on 28 January, at the Palffy Palac restaurant. We are delighted to say we are nearly sold out, please get back to us ASAP if you would like to attend.  The cost is 1600 CZK per person. We are delighted to welcome back Glenfiddich as a sponsor this year, and we will be sampling some very good single malt whisky during the evening! We are delighted to announce that our 14th annual Burns Night Prague celebration will take place on January 28, 2017 at the inimitable Palffy Palac Club restaurant Valdstejnska 14, Praha 1 - Mala Strana, from 18:30 with programme starting about 19:00.  The venue is spectacular, but we can only take a limited number of people so book early. The annual Burns Night is just around the corner! A charity auction for our adopted children in India and Zambia will hopefully support them for another year (and we were fortunate enough to visit the Zambian kids in 2015). We are delighted to announce we have teamed up with the Corinthia Hotel Prague this year.  The event will take place at the top floor hall with stunning views over Prague!  The Corinthia is more than just a venue - they are a partner in the event and together we hope to expand the Burns Night this year and in the future. The programme remains the same traditional format that regulars have known and loved!
